Series

The Bobcat GC55C-9 BCS is a 12,000 lb four-wheel LPG cushion-tire forklift built on Bobcat’s Box Car Special chassis, the top-capacity BCS model Bobcat offers.

At 151.8 in overall length and a 94.5 in turning radius, it turns tighter than the standard GC55C-9’s 97 in radius, useful in congested heavy-manufacturing floors, freight docks, and rail-car work where the standard-length truck runs out of room.

It shares the standard GC55C-9’s engine options, mast, and 24 in load center, so capacity and lift performance stay the same. Only the footprint and service weight change.

Choose the GC55C-9 BCS when your heaviest recurring load runs close to six tons and your dock or rail access is tight. Tell us your clearance and load, and we will confirm the fit.

GC55C-9 BCS FAQs

Does the BCS chassis reduce the GC55C-9's capacity?

No. It lifts the same 12,000 lb as the standard GC55C-9, on the same mast and engine options. Only the overall length, turning radius, and service weight change.

When should I pick the GC55C-9 BCS over the standard GC55C-9?

When your dock, rail car, or aisle clearance is the limiting factor at this capacity. If space is not a constraint, the standard GC55C-9 is the simpler choice.
