The Bobcat G55C-7 is a 12,000 lb four-wheel LPG pneumatic-tire forklift and the top of Bobcat’s midsize-capacity outdoor range. It shares the 92.5 hp engine, mast, and 82.7 in wheelbase with the G50C-7 below it.
At 179.1 in overall length, it’s the longest truck in the midsize family, the tradeoff for carrying the most capacity on this chassis platform before stepping up to the large-capacity G60S-7 and G70S-7.
LPG and dual-fuel capability keep it cycling through heavy building-materials and steel-yard operations without a charging window, and pneumatic tires hold traction on rough outdoor surfaces.
Choose the G55C-7 when your heaviest recurring load runs close to six tons and you want to stay on the midsize-capacity platform. Tell us your load, and we will confirm the fit.

G55C-7 FAQs
Is the G55C-7 the largest LPG truck Bobcat builds before the large-capacity family?
Yes, at 12,000 lb it tops the midsize-capacity range. Heavier loads call for the 13,500 lb G60S-7 or 15,500 lb G70S-7 in Bobcat's large-capacity LPG family.
How does the G55C-7 compare to the G50C-7?
Both share the same 92.5 hp engine, mast, and 82.7 in wheelbase. The G55C-7 carries 1,000 lb more capacity, the tradeoff being a slightly lower lift speed under load.
