The Bobcat D40S-9 is a 9,000 lb four-wheel diesel pneumatic-tire forklift, a step up in Bobcat’s midsize-capacity diesel range. It shares the 74 hp HDI engine and 79.5 in wheelbase with the D35S-9 below it.
At 165.4 in overall length and a 110.2 in turning radius, it handles heavier lumber bundles and steel loads while keeping the same 15-16 mph top speed for covering ground in larger yards.
Three performance modes (ECO/STD/HIGH) and Shift Pro-Tek transmission protection carry through from the rest of the 9 Series diesel range.
Choose the D40S-9 when your heaviest recurring load runs close to 4.5 tons. Tell us your load and application, and we will confirm the fit.
