The Bobcat G18S-5 is a 3,500 lb four-wheel LPG pneumatic-tire forklift built for operations that move between indoor floors and outdoor yards in the same shift. Its LPG engine makes 45.5 hp, and a cylinder swap keeps it running without a charging window.
The hydrostatic steer axle has fewer moving parts than a conventional steering system, which means lower-effort steering and less maintenance over the truck’s life. An operator sensing system automatically locks mast functions if the driver leaves the seat.
At 79.6 in outside turning radius, it stays tight enough for yard staging and dock work while its pneumatic tires handle gravel, dirt, and uneven pavement that a cushion-tire truck would struggle with.
