The Bobcat B25S-7 is a 5,000 lb four-wheel electric counterbalance forklift and the classic all-around dock truck in Bobcat’s 7-Series lineup. It sits right in the capacity band where most propane forklifts get replaced with electric.

Like the rest of the S-7 family, it runs at 11.2 mph, the fastest travel speed among Bobcat’s electric forklifts. Pneumatic tires handle dock plates, ramps, and paved yard surfaces without giving up that speed.

The extra 1,000 lb over the B20S-7 gives it more margin for building-materials and lumber loads, where pallets run heavier and less uniform. It is a natural upgrade for operations that keep hitting the ceiling on a 4,000 lb unit.

If your loads regularly run near or over 5,000 lb, let us know what you are handling and we will size the right truck for it.

B25S-7 FAQs

What kind of loads does a 5,000 lb capacity handle?

It covers most standard pallets in warehousing, distribution, and general manufacturing, with more headroom than the 4,000 lb B20S-7 for heavier or less uniform freight.

How does the B25S-7 compare to the B20S-7 and B30S-7?

It sits in the middle of the family, 1,000 lb more capacity than the B20S-7 and 1,000 lb less than the B30S-7, with the same 48V drivetrain and 11.2 mph travel speed across all three.

Can the B25S-7 handle building-materials and lumber pallets?

Yes. Its 5,000 lb rating and pneumatic tires make it a solid fit for lumber and building-materials loads that run heavier than typical dock freight.
